Thank you for voting

Dear South Bangalorean,

The things we enjoy -- our growing economy, a thriving democracy, and a people that look optimistically to the future -- come at a price. If it’s the duty of a country to bestow the best of opportunities to every one of it’s people, it’s the duty of a citizenry to choose leaders that can make these dreams real. We owe it to ourselves and our future generations to vote.

Thank you for taking your civic duty seriously. Thank you for voting.

Sincerely,

Krishna Byre Gowda

Mr. Krishna Byregowda,

I am a ardent fan and follower of Cogress principles and would have loved to see you as an unanimously elected MP from South Bangalore. But things did'nt work like we had expected. You dont have to be disappointed about not winning. I would like to congratulate you for all your campainging efforts which you and your followers seriously worked only a fortnight before Bangalore went to polls. You have gained 4,00,341 votes just 37,613 short to win!! Thats indeed a remarkable achievement. The number shows the faith you had garnered from the people of South Bangalore during you 15-20 days of hard Campaigning.

Its very saddening to see the Lotus bloom in most of the parts of Karnataka and was more astonished to see it bloom all over Bangalore too! We never expected it. This implies that the Congress has to work from the grass root level to garner faith from people. The S.M.Krishna Era is gone. People have lost faith in Cogress. Pl dont take the defeat seriously and start working towards building the Congress in Karnataka. Its indeed Mr.Rahul Gandhi's hard efforts and Campaigning skills which got us a tremendous response from UP. We need well educated and farsighted leaders like you and Mr. Rahul Gandhi.

Pl work towards strengthing the Congress as its saddening to see people like Margaret Alva lose!!

U might have lost this elections but you have created an awareness amongst all of us. There might be 100 reasons why you lost the elections that too by the mere margin of 30,000 votes. Please do not take this into your mind, you are "The Best" polician i have ever seen in my life time, the way you talk, your politeness, your kindness, hats off sir.

On this ocassion i urge Congress high command to consider you as a potential CM candidate for the state, and start working on the same from now. Any ways all the buddas of congress have now moved to delhi, so this is the right time for congress to revamp local structure.

All the best for your future sir, and please do not forget bangalore south constituency, in this place especialy in Basavanagudi there might be lots of educated people but still they wont come out of caste voting for BJP. T pity of them. Basavanagudi is very isolated you should be having cross belt to win there. its enough of humiliation for us in that region.
